Concept
Corporate social responsibility is an integral part of every business plan across the globe; however corporate culture in general and CSR in particular is almost non-existent in the real estate domain in Pakistan or is mostly misconceived due to lack of application of this concept in practical business domains. CSR has to evolve and be transformed by the entity itself, as per the nature of business and requirement of the environment and society. Companies employ this management paradigm to integrate environmental and social concerns into their business operations. CSR gives two dimensional output simultaneously! Competitive benefits to the business outlet in shape of increased sales, cost savings, increased efficiency, decision-making and above all it blesses legitimacy to the corporate entity, whereas it helps the people and society in terms of awareness about the business itself, increased employment, skill development opportunities, environmental awareness and care and in many more way keeping in view the vulnerabilities, opportunities and possibilities existent in the social and environmental circle in focus.

Ms. Anam Sarah is a graduate of Fatima Jinnah Women University in Business Administration. She is a Gold Medalist of batch 2007-2011. She has done MS in Management Sciences and wrote her thesis on Corporate Social Responsibility-A Case Study of Real Estate Business in Pakistan. She has served on the faculty of Fatima Jinnah Women University, Roots IVY and has taught the elite Cambridge IGCSC courses at various reputable institutions in the Federal Capital.

Environmental conservation is a societal obligation that aids in the protection of both the environment and creatures. The environment’s conservation is crucial to the equitable distribution of resources among the many sorts of animals that live there. Because changing environmental circumstances directly affect species, it is our obligation to halt the change and safeguard all life.
Nature Conservation:
Protecting and conserving the environment in order to safeguard the creatures inside it is our societal obligation. Because environmental circumstances are deteriorating on a daily basis, environmental resource conservation has become one of the most pressing societal issues.
Oak Vista is one of the projects under the umbrella of Sapphire Builders & Associates. It is located in the heart of Murree Hills and surrounded by large number of trees. We make sure that our construction activities do not hurt any natural reservoirs around our project and preserve the trees around.
Energy Conservation:
Energy efficiency initiatives and contests must be developed with the goal of producing practical outcomes and demonstrating measurable savings. Capturing people’s attention and inspiring them to take good action is difficult, but current concerns about oil and energy costs, as well as the country’s reliance on imports, have reignited interest in energy efficiency among companies.
That is why Sapphire Builders & Associates have special policies to conserve the energy resources. Not just on our construction sites but also in our offices, we make sure to save the energy resources by putting all the efforts.

CSR in the infrastructure sector is based on recognizing the numerous stakeholders with whom a firm interacts, emphasizing the necessity of managing the social environment to a project’s success.
Our Oak Vista project team never disappoints in terms of doing good for the society. The people already living around Oak Vista location has no access to the main road of Murree Expressway. Before starting the construction of Oak Vista, our team decided to build a road for the people living around to use. The accessibility after construction of this road has been so easy for the locals, all credit goes to Oak Vista team.
3- Human Rights Statement:
Customary laws, treaties, general principles, and other sources of international law frequently express and safeguard human rights. The human rights legislation requires businesses to behave in particular ways or refrain from certain actions in order to promote and defend people’ and groups’ human rights.
Safety of Labors:
As a real estate firm, our encounter with labors is very often and we at Sapphire Builders & Associates took our responsibility towards human rights very seriously. Our worker/labors are like our family to us. That is why we make sure that the labor is fully equipped with the safety kits. Our labor has Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which helps them in their safety during work.

The material used in the projects of Sapphire Builders & Associates always go through the required tests to ensure its quality. We sent our samples to one of the best labs in Islamabad, which is National University of Science and Technology Lab so that we can get the best results possible.
