Establishment of Fast-Track Courts for Property Disputes Being Planned by OPF

According to the managing director of Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF), Dr. Amer Sheikh, the organization is embarking on a new initiative to establish specialized fast-track courts in all provinces of Pakistan.

In order to safeguard the property of Pakistanis living abroad and ensure that property disputes are speedily handled, this project proposes to establish specialist fast-track courts in each of Pakistan’s provinces.

Senator Anwar ul Haq Kakar, who presided over the meeting, lauded the OPF’s proposal and hailed it as a “move in the right path.” Kakar also underlined the necessity of developing a comprehensive strategy to solve the difficulties encountered by Pakistanis travelling abroad at airports, emphasizing the significance of taking action to simplify and facilitate their travel arrangements.

The committee’s chairman gave the Employees Old Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) two weeks to present a thorough report on all claims made against it. This was stated at the meeting.
The proceedings also covered the Overseas Employment Corporation’s (OEC) initiatives to provide Pakistanis with employment possibilities abroad and underlined the importance of educating talented immigrants in new technologies to better prepare them for the labor market.
