Digitalization of Land Records and CDA’s Initiatives

The digitalization of land records is the process of converting traditional paper-based land ownership documents into electronic formats. This can involve scanning physical documents and storing them electronically, or creating new digital records from the outset.

Here are some of the benefits of digitizing land records:

Increased Efficiency:

Digital records can be accessed and searched much faster than paper records. This can save time and money for both landowners and government agencies.

Improved Transparency:

Digital records can be made publicly available online, which can help to reduce corruption and fraud.

Enhanced Security:

Digital records can be backed up and stored securely, which helps to protect them from damage or loss.

Easier Dispute Resolution:

Digital records can provide a clear and accurate record of land ownership, which can help to resolve disputes more quickly.Digitalization of Land Records
